Welcome Note

Dear esteemed colleagues and respected guests,

It is with great pleasure and honor that I welcome you all to the 7th Kuwait Primary Health Care Conference, held under the theme of “Care for All: A Unified Approach to Primary Healthcare.” I extend my warmest greetings to each of you as we gather in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuwait, from the 12th to the 14th of November.

Our theme is both timely and vital. Across the globe, health systems are under immense pressure to respond not only to emerging diseases but also to the enduring challenges of chronic conditions, health inequities, and resource constraints. The call for a united approach reminds us that primary health care cannot succeed in isolation; it must be an integrated, collaborative effort that draws on the strengths of multidisciplinary teams, innovative policies, and active community engagement.

Equally important is our focus on health promotion, patient empowerment, and awareness. By equipping patients with the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about their health, we not only improve outcomes but also foster stronger partnerships between patients and health providers. Empowered patients are central to achieving sustainable, patient-centered health systems and to advancing our shared vision of equitable care.

This conference provides a unique platform for dialogue, learning, and exchange. Over the coming days, you will hear from leading experts across the globe, whose contributions will enrich our program. Their insights, knowledge, and perspectives will guide us in examining critical issues such as resource allocation, integrated service delivery, and innovative models of care that transcend geographic barriers. Through a combination of plenary sessions, discussions, and hands-on workshops, this conference offers an opportunity to critically examine the challenges we face and to collectively envision solutions that uphold the principle of Care for All.

On behalf of the organizing committee, I encourage all participants to take full advantage of the sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities to build partnerships that can translate into tangible impact. Together, we have the power to reimagine primary health care systems that are resilient, patient-centered, and inclusive. Let us leave this conference not only with renewed insights but also with a shared determination to act so that Care for All becomes not just a vision, but a lived reality.

Welcome, and I wish you all a productive and inspiring conference.

Warm regards,

Dr. Deena Al Dhubaib
